Week 33 of the 365 and still going strong! Hard to believe we are already done 33/52 weeks for the whole year. I know I will be so happy when I look back on these photos. Even if they are just from my iPhone, in years to come it won’t matter to me whether or not they are perfectly captured, just that they are perfectly us.
August 13, 2012 – Peter usually has Mondays off but he was working today because a new worship minister started today. On a whim, I decided to skip nap time and take the kids to the spray park… sadly our first time there this summer. It is so sad for me how summer is my busiest work time and then I feel like I don’t have much time to take the kids out to places like this because I have to spend so much time on my work.
August 14, 2012 – Saying goodbye to this gummy smile. The day before this I thought I saw something on Isaac’s gums but he wouldn’t let me get a good look at it. I couldn’t feel anything, but the next day I could! So here we are, 7 months and he gets his first tooth. The second one came a day or two later.
August 15, 2012 – I was on a bit of a sewing kick this week, completing little projects while the kids played in the cool of the basement. I finally made Isaac’s baby blanket! It was on the to-do list for after Christmas… but he decided to be early and was born on Boxing Day.
August 16, 2012 – Oops, I forgot to take a picture of what the kids did today (we went to the mall with my friend Brittany and her son, Levi) and then ran some errands and played outside). This picture was taken of Isaac right before I turned out the light and went to sleep!
August 17, 2012 – Family swimming time! Because Peter worked Monday he took this Friday off instead. We decuded to take all of the kids swimming. We honestly haven’t been to the pool in so long. It was Isaac’s first time and probably Ezra’s first time in a year. Ezra had the biggest smile on his face the entire time: “I swimming, mommy!” Eva did so well swimming on her own with the lifejacket, I was so proud of her! Isaac had a straight face for the longest time, really examining everything and taking it all in. He normally would’ve napped during this time but he lasted the entire time and totally crashed when we were leaving. He napped for over 2 hours after this!
August 18, 2012 – The Es playing nicely together, colouring at the table. (Ezra may have eaten some crayon during this time… and then had an allergic reaction to it.)
August 19, 2012 – watching Rio on a Sunday afternoon and having suckers. Aren’t they sweet together (sometimes)?
