March 10, 2012 – A week ago I noticed a clear fluid coming out of Ezra’s ear. This past Wednesday I noticed it again and on Friday I noticed blood around the ear canal. Peter took Eva and Ezra to ACH ER. Eva just had a stomach bug but Ezra had an ear infection that burst his ear drum. Poor guy! They also had to draw blood to test his iron and to see if he is anemic (dr was concerned because he’s so fair). Not anemic but iron levels are low.
March 16, 2012 – Isaac and I volunteered in Eva’s classroom. When a parent volunteers, the child gets to be the “Special Helper” and they get to go first in line too. It was a day to honor Eva, her teacher made her a special poster with her favorite colors (purple and pink), and pictures her favorite food (corn on the cob), favorite animal (horse), and favorite activity (playing outside). And of course, a picture of Eva too! Then her classmates raise their hands and each person was to say a compliment about Eva. The teachers gave Eva compliments too and her mama also got to say one! I said that she is so loving and always takes care of her baby brother! After that, the kids all drew pictures of their compliment and it will be complied into a book with the poster as the cover.
March 17, 2012 – we have had some beautiful, sun-shining days with blue sky! I have been loving going out for little walks and getting some fresh air and letting the kids burn off some energy. We went for a lap around the block on our own and then daddy joined in when he got home from the dentist. We brought out the wagon and Ezra loved riding in it! Eva would take turns between riding and pulling her brother!
