Everything – Book Review

Wow, I recently read “Everything” by Mary DeMuth and was not disappointed!  I had already planned to buy this book, so when it came available for review, I requested it immediately.  This book is all about “what you give and what you gain to become like Jesus” and is broken down into three main areas of surrender: Head (What We Think), Heart (Who We Are), and Hands (How We Live).

Mary writes in a way that is both intelligent, yet relatable, and I love the way that she shares so honestly about her own sin and the areas in her life that she struggles to surrender.  This is a book that I would recommend to almost everyone, from new to seasoned believer.  It is encouraging, inspiring, and a message that we all need to hear again and again.

September 7, 2015 - 4:21 am Ruslan - It's absolutely awful what she went tgruohh, and I wouldn't wish that on anyone. But she's alive and her child is alive. I understand wanting another child but not wanting to risk possible death, but come on. Is her DNA so special that she needs more than one child on the planet to perpetuate it, even to the point of asking the world to pay for it? I'm sorry but how exactly does her having a second biological child benefit the earth to such an extent that others should fund it?
